Just out – a shoot for John Frieda in this month’s InStyle Magazine.

Shooting a men’s fragrance campaign on the bay in 30 mph gusts was a bit challenging, but the crazy winds blew in beautiful puffy clouds and the kiteboarders brought us ample distraction.  And our Argentinian model Gustavo took my mind off the weather as well.

Last week in Malibu we had four days of ridiculous weather for shooting a new summer beauty campaign for Walmart.  I think the mood of the shoot is expressed perfectly here by my lovely models – Wylie, Sarah, and Mark from the Martin agency.  We also got to shoot a short video — edit to [...]

Behind the scenes at the shoot for the Clinique Fresh Faces.  The winners – Monica, Eartha, and Misha – were disarmingly sweet, and a delight to have on set.  Plus, the camera loved them all – see their shoot in Teen Vogue April 2010.

Just finished shooting/editing a short for the design house Felissimo for their holiday pop-up exhibition JAPAN BRAND: The Wish List.  20 kids, a dad and a dog in one day – I loved it!

Congratulations to German Instyle, celebrating their 10 year anniversary with their October 2009 issue, featuring a fashion story with Poppy Delevigne in New York.

Rain and dreary weather taxed our shoot, but we still managed (see dedicated crew above) to pull off some surprisingly sunny shots for St Ives.

Just out, a big family celebration set in the exquisite english countryside for Boden.

I guess it’s not summer unless you show a bit of skin…  Miami was painfully hot outside, but in studio we were very happy to tweak our ‘daylight’ to perfection – thanks to ADs Karina and Fabio – and of course the beautiful Laura.

Actress Kayla Ewell (of the upcoming TV series Vampire Diaries) showed us some brilliant attitude shooting this fashion story on the streets of soho – it was quite a departure for her but she was indefatigable and willing to try anything we threw her way…

A very entertaining day in times square shooting Poppy Delevigne in the new pedestrian zone – at one point I turned to find an entire block of tourists lined up to watch. I’m pretty sure the crowds weren’t for me. They were crazy for Poppy – and who wouldn’t be?

On a shoot with my lovely friends from Cyzone, the freshest face we’ve seen in a while — just look at A.L.’s freckles!
